The Name Shop will use New Zealand Post and CourierPost to ship goods to you. NZPost delivers goods by standard and international post, and by international courier. CourierPost delivers in NZ only. Postage costs will be at the same rates as determined by NZPost and CourierPost.

Packaging will be chosen according to item, destination and shipping company. Rely on us to protect your product.

The following example gives the 4 basic services and postage rates for a jiffe bag containing either letter- or A4-sized prints of first or family names or Coat-of-Arms image. A jiffe bag is a hard-covered cardboard envelope, which the Name Shop will use to prevent damage, bending or crushing during postage. The Name Shop will charge $1 for a jiffe bag. Postal charges are based on whether item is classed as a document or parcel, and on weight. A jiffe bag weighs 0.12kg.

Insurance

The Name Shop recommends that all jewellery purchased through our web site be shipped by domestic or international courier with either signature required or track and trace option. International Economy is the only service that does not have track and trace.

Insurance for jewellery couriered domestically is covered by the Name Shop. Jewellery posted overseas must have additional insurance. This insurance is already built in for items valued up to $2000 for International Economy Courier. For items valued more than $250, an additional insurance of $10 is charged to cover items valued up to $1500.
